Kitchen Display & Other Screens
Run the Kitchen Display, Counter Display, Order Status TV, waitlist screens and the time clock from a browser, and route menu items to kitchen stations.

Besides the iOS apps, OpenPOS has screens that run in any modern browser on a tablet or TV: the Kitchen Display for the line, the Counter Display for handoff, an order status board for waiting guests, waitlist screens and the time clock. There's nothing to install. Open the link on the device.
Where to find it
- Store Settings › Displays lists every screen with Launch, QR Code and Copy URL.
- Mount a tablet in the kitchen on steady Wi-Fi, then scan the QR Code for Kitchen Display (or Counter Display) or open the copied link.
- Sign in with a staff PIN. The person's role needs access to orders.
- To split the line, tap Configure kitchen stations on the Displays page, add a station for each area, assign menu items (Smart Assign suggests some) and tap Save changes. Then filter each screen by station.
Good to know
- Kitchen and Counter views show what to cook and what is ready to hand off. FIRE starts an order and DONE finishes it.
- Items without a station show on every screen.
- Kitchen Display Language sets what your cooks read, separately from your menu language.
- Order Status TV needs no PIN. Waitlist kiosk and Waitlist TV need the waitlist on; see Reservations & waitlist.
- The time clock pairs with its own code instead of a PIN (see Time Clock & Timesheets). For the staff's shared iPad, use the staff app.
If something's not working
- The screen asks for a PIN, or shows no orders? Sign in with a staff PIN whose role can see orders.
- An item is missing from a station's screen? Check its station in the kitchen station settings and tap Save changes.
