What Your AI Manager Does Each DayBeta
The AI Manager's regular work — shifts, watches during service, the team, planning, guests and reports — and where to see what runs at your store.
Last updated October 12, 2026
Like a member of staff, the AI Manager has regular work: getting a new store set up, checking the day before service, closing after it, keeping an eye on things during service, planning ahead and sending reports. It decides what matters on each shift and works within the lines you set. Which jobs run depends on what your store uses.
Where to find it
- In the AI Manager app, open Settings › Its schedule to see what runs at your store, what each job does and who it tells — and what doesn't apply yet, and why.
- What each run did is in Tasks.
- Once orders come in, reports arrive by email, and every report is also in the app.
Good to know
- It speaks up only when something matters. On a normal day you may hear nothing.
- Its reports use your store's real numbers and never make one up.
- The watches for late and stuck orders are part of operations and keep running with the AI Manager switched off. Something broken, like an oven, is an incident: see When Something Breaks.
- It also helps with the team, guests and growth when your store uses them. See Scheduling, Reservations & Waitlist, Catering and AI Discovery.
- Choose how often its updates reach you in Settings › Reaching you.
If something's not working
- A job you expect isn't running? Check that the AI Manager is switched on, then look in Settings › Its schedule, which says why a job doesn't apply yet.
- Not getting reports or alerts? Check who it tells in Settings › Reaching you.
- Still stuck? Email [email protected].
