Approvals, Limits & SettingsBeta
Choose how hands-on your AI Manager is, set the limits it never crosses, tell it about your store, and answer its approvals and questions in one tap.

The AI Manager acts on its own only inside the lines you draw. This is how to set them, and how its approvals and questions reach you. For owners and managers.
Where to find it
In the AI Manager app, tap the gear (on a computer, at the bottom of the sidebar). The on/off switch is also on the AI Manager card in Store Settings › Services. Then:
- How it works with you — pick how hands-on it is. With Ask before money and guests (recommended) it acts and reports on the rest, while prices, promotions and messages to guests wait for your yes. Fine-tune by area changes one area at a time.
- Limits — the lines it never crosses on its own, such as the biggest discount, your marketing budget and a Never do list. Beyond them, it asks.
- What it knows — your story, brand voice and anything you want it to keep in mind.
- Reaching you — who it tells, how often summaries arrive, and quiet hours.
Good to know
- Approvals and questions wait in the bell (Needs you) and, when they matter, reach you by text or email with a private link. Tap Approve, or Skip to say not this one, not now, or none of these.
- Hours and closing early, store credit, and refunds and cancels always start on ask, because they change what guests are promised or move money. Only the owner can hand these over.
- A campaign send, a price change, a promotion or a refund that waits for a yes can be approved only by the owner or an admin. A manager sees it as Waiting for the owner.
- A change that can be undone has Undo on its page, and History holds everything it did and told you.
If something's not working
- It does something you'd rather approve? Set that area to Ask before acting or Don't touch in Fine-tune by area.
- Not getting its texts or emails? Check Reaching you and your quiet hours, or email [email protected].
